With Danlaw’s Smart Connect App, every ride tells a story.
Smart Connect gives you instant access to key vehicle and driving information. You can use these insights to drive an endless number of business and safety performance metrics. Smart Connect is free to download and available to everyone who has a supported Danlaw DataLogger* installed in their vehicle.
HOW IT WORKS
The Smart Connect App is a ready-to-use mobile application. The app allows a supported Danlaw DataLogger (an OBD-II device) to send data to authorized backend services using your smartphone’s Bluetooth connection.
Smart Connect is used to showcase the communication capabilities of our DataLogger, BLE-based sensors, mobile phone sensors, and more.
KEY FEATURES
Vehicle Info – Stay up-to-date with the health of your vehicle so you can plan ahead for vehicle maintenance and minimize downtime. Smart Connect monitors metrics like speed, RPM, battery voltage, tire pressure (TPMS), GPS, VIN, odometer, and more.
Driving Info – Monitor your driving performance on Smart Connect’s timeline to become a safer driver. Smart Connect displays significant vehicle events that occurred while you were driving, including trip start and end time, hard acceleration, hard braking, cornering, and more.
Auto Connect – Smart Connect is hassle-free! The auto connect feature allows your smartphone to connect to your DataLogger as soon as you start driving. You don’t have to worry about pairing your phone every time you take a drive.
WiFi Capabilities - Allow your DataLogger to automatically send data to authorized backend services when within range of your WiFi network, without using your smartphone for data transfer.
Firmware Over the Air Updates - Wirelessly update your DataLogger with the latest firmware to ensure your device is up-to-date.
